Caring By Default is proud to announce a new addition to our education and training services. In addition to offering Basic Life Support Classes, we also educate individuals in First Aid/ CPR/ AED training as well as Babysitting training! Our First Aid/CPR/AED training teaches the skills and knowledge necessary to respond to a variety of emergencies. This includes recognizing and caring for injuries, sudden illnesses, and breathing or cardiac emergencies, as well as the proper use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). The course covers both adult and pediatric first aid, CPR, and AED use. Our Babysitting training is designed as an in-person course that prepares youth ages 11-16 to safely and confidently care for children and infants. It includes hands-on activities videos and discussions to develop essential real-life readiness babysitting skills. The course covers feeding diapering picking up and holding children safety and emergency response. Participants receive a 10-year Babysitter's Training certificate upon completion. First Aid/ CPR/AED training in addition to baby sitting training includes a 2-year certification through the American Red Cross.
